I spoke to Yvonne Haigh today and have since changed my unit from TLC120 to Ideas in Action which is a multidisciplinary unit. Apparently TLC120 is basically repetitive of on-track.

Hi everyone . One day over . I don’t know whether anyone else had the difficulty I had in understanding what Brad Patit was saying when he spoke. Lets hope we don’t ahave too many lectures from him. Well when I got home I looked up the excercises to be done for the library , hell fire I thought that I knew the workings of the library and how to locate boks etc but the detail gone into in the 6 modules is enormous , you need a phd,.to understand it.. Oh well I will just have to struggle on!!!! I am back at Murdoch tomorrow for my first tutorial- did anyone have a tute today ? Hope its a lot easier than the library assignment.. I will catch up with you all again next Monday , I don’t think anyone else is at Uni tomorrow and thats the only time I am there . Don’t work too hard .Cheers for now .

Hi guys great to see you all today!! I was having a go at LITE sections 1 and 2 (didn’t do the quizes tho) and found I couldn’t use italics for book titles bcos I didn’t know how to access italics….also one exercise, search by author’s name and title I couldn’t tab down from the author’s name and the pop-up kept telling me the name came after ‘In’, has anyone else had any difficulty??

Hi Kim the FDN150 tute was pretty easy . The tutor told us about the course and basically said that if you read the eeader and have some idea of it you will pass . Our tutor allows you to read your presentation and remaion seated whilst you are doing it so Kim you shsould not have any problems , you are allowed to write out your presentation and then read it .. does’nt seem too bad .. I have just received an email re TLC 120 saying that the readfer is now available at the bookshop , does anyone know what the reasder is? Played golf today , again like a dog , maybe the universe is telling me something. Well there is not much happening here , I habe to complete two reasdings for next Tuesday so I better get on with it. See you all on Monday . cheers…

I manged to get hold of the reader for TLC120 , I apologise for my typing error , but wwhen I type on the comment the words are so faint I can hardly see them and am not sure that I have made any mistakes or not, I also have the problem that I type too fast. My tutor for Re-inventingi Australia is Allan Royle , nearly as old as me , he seems OK ,very laid back. OK is Friday night , have been out for Chinese , now time to go and watch the cricket , see you all on Monday , I will be at Uni at about 9am, I will catch up with you at the smokers corner.

Sounds good to me Technicality wise I was using a wide angle lense which allowed me to get the whole building in the frame. F-stop = f/19, Exposure time = 1/250 sec, ISO speed = 800 and Focal length = 17mm

Yeah it was good to practice, I shot in whats called RAW mode where the light sensor (what used to be the film) collects all the available light so you can go back and virtually reshoot the image in the studio via Adobe Bridge software.

I’m reading about the beginnings of the women’s rights movement in the U.S. They gained support through their work with the abolitionist movements In mid 19th C. so they had men from the anti-slavery movement on their side. I’ve been reading some of the male supporters views. As they had more practice speaking out and obviously weren’t fighting for themselves , some of these writings are really powerful, heartfelt stuff. Inspiring.

Hi everyone, I had a day off today went and played gold – very badly – so should have stayed home and done some revision, got an e-mail fm Colin Beasley saying he’s not accepting any more late work, glad mine is all in, he said that the exam is on Tuesday, I thought it was Monday but have checked the timetable and it is 9.30am. Tues 17/11 EH 3.001, Sally are you lapping up the rays
