The dismemberment of ritual has provided the opportunity of theatre in the high culture and carnival at the folk level. A multiplicity of desacralised performance genres have assumed, prismatically, the task of plural reflexivity.

Some interesting ads

These have recently caused a bit of controversy in Australia. They didn’t really take into account the target audience http://www.engaust.com.au/

365 Postcards

March 20, 2010 - 08:24

Back in my OnTrack days I hooked up with Kacy, another digital media student at Murdoch. Kacy gave me some advice regarding digital media courses that really helped in my journey into university life.

Kacy is going great guns and has this really interesting project happening. It’s called 365 Postcards. Kacy laments the passing of the old snail mail days and the excitement we used to get receiving unexpected greetings in the letter box.

If you would like to rekindle some of this excitement for yourself, go to 365Postcards and sign up for your slice of the anticipatory life…

Here is a series of photographs I produced for my Marking Time project in MCC124 Photography and Digital Imaging.  MCC124 is a great unit, if you get the opportunity I would really recommend giving it a go.

Seasons greetings

December 17, 2009 - 08:10

This year I haven’t had time to devise and create one of my ‘famous’ online Christmas greetings, so in the spirit of the times I have decided to recycle last years greeting.
